Training Philosophy

Our primary interest is to be helpful to humanity. We believe that this best occurs via the ripple effect; that is, when one healthy life touches another to create healthy change, then that life touches another, that person affects another, and ever onward.

From personal experience we know that when the understanding called Health Realization is applied well in communities, in organizations, in families, in work settings, enormous changes for the better occur in many people's lives. Imagine the possibilities if this were to happen as far and wide as possible, in every village and every neighborhood, in every school and every community, in every job, in every family. Obviously this far exceeds our capacity—but we can start a ripple. It is our intent and desire to help draw forth the ability in as many people as possible, to improve others' mental health and well-being.

We also know from experience that people who attempt to accomplish this need a solid enough understanding and grounding, and ability to convey it; thus a certain immersion in this understanding and practice is necessary.

One further note about our "teaching" or "training" approach. Even these words are a misnomer, for they imply an imparting of knowledge. In this model this is impossible. In this model, understanding is gained via insight. Because insight is one thing that no one can make happen in anyone else, it is only an illusion that the eloquence or skill of the speaker or teacher or trainer is the ingredient that brings this about. Built into this understanding is the recognition that everyone already has within them everything they need to realize this understanding at any moment; including how to convey it. Thus, our approach is to draw forth each person's unique and special way of helping others to gain new insight.

It is our desire to keep the cost to participants as low as possible because we want it to be accessible to all. But please bear with us, for it is more expensive than we would like to successfully put together a major effort such as this.
